Those whom she loved and trusted the most reopened those wounds time and time again. How can a mother hate and mistreat her own daughter? How can a husband turn his back on the woman he pledged to God to love, honor, and cherish? How can friends smile at you yet gossip about you and mistreat you? How can a mother encourage her daughter to abort her own grandchild?
Favor is not fair. And it seems that God's favor was not upon Avis Minott no matter how faith she was to Him. But she remained faithful to God in spite of the hard blows life dealt to her. However, in the end God honored her faithfulness and showed her great favor.
