Miracles in Slow Motion, by Donnell Smith

God wants to bless us in abundance; He wants to perform the impossibles in our lives times over, but we live in a microwave society and have become a people with a quick-fix mentality. We want God to bless us NOW! We want God to deliver us NOW! Pastor Donnell Smith realizes that this is where many of us as Christians are loosing out and as he says, in order for God to save us, He has to often times slow us down. God has to allow things to come into our lives to interrupt our progress. These frustrating hinderances, these set-backs, these devil-darts--if we simply wait on God will turn out to be our help in disguise.

In Miracles in Slow Motion, Smith states: "...so many of the Lord's greatest works will be more progressive than instant...My goal is to inspire you to develop more gratitude for the "progressive stages," which the Lord often uses to bring His choice blessings into our lives." 

God knows us better than we know ourselves and He never reveals to us His plan for our lives every inch of the way. Have faith that He is an on-time God, but He always operates on His time and never on our time.
