The third in Niyi Taiwo's Top Ten Laws of Respect focuses on respect in the workplace. Taiwo writes: "Research studies have shown that respect for people is a key value component of the culture of an organization. Research has also linked organizational culture to organizational performance. Yet many organizations continue to wrestle with the ever challenging task of cultivating a workplace culture of respect.
As in his two previous books in the series on respect, he skillfully intertwines short stories that are apropos to each of the laws being discussed as each relates to the workplace. He also, at the end of each chapter presents what he calls EKTIMIS TIP where you are given the opportunity to reflect on what you just read with the intention to apply the principles presented. You are given time to reflect on your values, your habits, your qualities, your workplace, relationships and encounters, your work ethic and to properly evaluate each with the intention on changing the negative and enhancing the positive. You can strive for "higher personal and professional  standards" by practicing a lifestyle of respect.
